Itty bitty S was a whopping ten days old when she had her first session. She was so sweet! We got her to sleep after a while and she was out cold. I was able to move her and she didn't even bat an eyelash.





















Yes, some of them are the same... I couln't decide which one/style I liked best and decided to preview them anyway. Enjoy.

This itty bitty was 6 days old and was so sweet for this session. We had her in a corner surrounded by beautiful light from two windows. Being near Arizona windows helped keep her slumbering once my AMAZING assistant Amy Griner (her aunt) got her to sleep. It was around 90 degrees in the session area and it worked like a charm.

These are a few of my faves from this session. Have you ever met a firey red head? I met my first under 20 years old. She is such a fun spitfire. All three of them have such fun personalities and smiles.





























I love FB! This awesome family contacted me in need of an EMERGENCY photo session. I can honestly say that I have never thought of needing photographs as an emergency but this was a first. I got a FB mail asking if it was possible to have a very last minute family session to turn out pics for a high school reunion photo. I thought that it was so cool that she wanted a current one! I then realized that I would love to have a more recent family photo... our last one was this past Christmas for our annual card.

When kids are young they change so much so quickly. Getting family photos taken in favorite places like the Zoo, a park, the mountains or just doing what your family enjoys can help capture the memories. Being able to look back at your family photo albums and say we really did love going to the park together or the Zoo or just playing games is priceless.

You probably have guessed by now that this little boy is becoming very accustomed to my camera. His mommy is one of my best friends from high school who even back then had my camera hovering around waiting for a 'great' shot. I remember one day when the sky looked promising for an awesome sunset when she and I hopped in my 78 Olds Omega and raced out to some mountains just north east of where we lived. We parked and hiked as fast as we could to get up to some boulders before that 'golden' moment that photographers talk about. It was worth it. With the sun setting behind her fiery red hair I was able to snap off some of my favorite pictures from high school.

I took her maternity photos and his bitty photos too. I love that he inherited his mamma's beautiful hair. Gotta love his intense eyes.

















Little bit more about me. My grandfather was a JH Science teacher and a photographer. I was raised with a love of stopping the car every 10 minutes on a road trip for a 'beautiful shot', and watching trays worth of slide shows. Not many kids would actually ask to see slides of random things but I am not normal. I loved looking at my grandfather's slides and still do. Although now it is normally on a HDTV or digital frame. Grandpa came over to the digital age a few years back.

I purchased my first Pentax 35mm slr at a pawn shop while in high school then proceeded to practice (harass) my friends incessantly with my camera. I loved it. Not so sure if they did though. Well I moved on from the film slr to my d-slr in 2009 and love the instant gratification of it. I still have and use my slr just not as often.

This little one is growing so fast. You probably recognize her from her family Christmas session and her itty bitty session. She loves the camera! Her beautiful eyes just light up. She was still a bit wobbly and tried to tip over a few times but mama caught her. We got quite a few great ones. Proud mama for sure!
